Ascension in Evansville, IN seeks compassionate caregiving staff for the ICU Stepdown. You will assist patients with daily living activities, support mobility, and document care to ensure accurate records. You will report any condition changes to the nursing team to safeguard patient safety and help maintain a clean, healing environment.

This full-time day role requires a High School diploma or GED (or 1 year of related experience) and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date; American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma or GED or 1 year of relevant experience required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Compassionate Daily Care: assist patients with personal care and daily living activities with dignity.
• Safely Support Patient Mobility: guide movements and positioning to protect safety and aid recovery.
• Serve as an Essential Clinical Observer: report shifts in condition to nursing staff to support patient safety.
• Maintain Accurate Care Journeys: document care and observations for seamless team communication.
• Create a Safe, Healing Environment: keep patient rooms clean and equipment ready.
