American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for Telemetry Med Surg in Evansville, Indiana. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week on a nights schedule, with 12-hour shifts and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–7.

Requirements include IN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and 2+ years in cardiac telemetry; Epic experience is required. Travel and licensure reimbursements, day-one insurance options, and CEUs are included.

Formación

• Active IN or Compact RN license required.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years recent cardiac/telemetry RN experience.
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required.
• Experience at a trauma level II facility required.
• Proficiency with telemetry and 12-lead EKG interpretation.
• Must pass telemetry skills tests.
• Ability to initiate and titrate drips, manage PIVs, chest tubes, and nephrostomy tubes.
• Recent Epic charting experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a 32-bed Cardiac Renal Stepdown Unit within a teaching hospital.
• Care for high acuity cardiac telemetry and renal patients.
• Monitor and interpret complex EKGs and manage drips.
• Float as needed to campuses within 11 miles with two hours' notice.
• Night shifts 12 hours from 6:30 pm to 7 am; 1:5–7 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Precept students and new hires as part of the teaching hospital environment.
