Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN is seeking a dedicated team member for Full Time Day shift in the ICU Stepdown department. You will assist patients with daily living activities, support mobility, observe patient conditions, document care, and maintain a clean, safe environment during a 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with rotation for weekends/holidays.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and teamwork within a supportive hospital setting that values growth and service.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month (30 days) of hire date.
• Licensure/Certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate daily care to patients and assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Safely support patient mobility and positioning while protecting their safety.
• Act as an essential clinical observer by reporting subtle changes to nursing staff for patient safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and observations for seamless communication.
• Keep patient rooms clean, organized, and equipment prepared to foster a healing environment.
