Job summary

Sinai Hospital in Baltimore is seeking a registered nurse for direct clinical care in a 36-bed ICU step-down unit. You will assess and implement age-appropriate care for stable to critically ill adults, with close monitoring and frequent interventions.

You will supervise staff as care is delegated and coordinate with leadership to maintain high standards of patient safety and resource use on a per-shift basis.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse License in Maryland (current or eligible)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the unit manager, provide direct clinical patient care to adult ICU step-down patients.
• Assess, plan, implement age-appropriate nursing care on a per-shift basis, and coordinate care at the unit level.
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and support NOC/ CNO to ensure high-quality, safe patient care and resource management.
