Job summary

Sinai Hospital's Intermediate Care Unit in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide direct clinical patient care on a shift basis in a 36-bed ICU step-down unit. The role handles patients with neurologic, respiratory, cardiac, renal and other complex conditions.

Under the direction of the unit manager, you will plan and implement age-appropriate care, supervise staff, and support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe patient care and optimal resource use.

Qualifications

• RN degree and Maryland-eligible license required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Experience in ICU or step-down critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care per shift in the ICU step-down unit.
• Assess, plan, implement age-appropriate care for assigned patients.
• Supervise staff to whom care is delegated and ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Support resource management in patient care and contribute to unit safety and outcomes.
