Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU in New Albany, IN. This full-time night-shift position (7pm-7am) offers Weekend WOW work with premium pay and a sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates. New graduates are welcome to apply.

The ICU is a 16-bed unit caring for critically ill adults; current Indiana license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required or obtainable within stated timelines. Located 10 minutes from Louisville.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS Stroke Certification required (Obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
• New graduate RNs are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
• Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
