AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN night shifts in Ocala, FL. The role covers inpatient nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting, requiring strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.

Travel within AdventHealth facilities across multiple units is possible, with emphasis on safety and high-quality care. Minimum 2+ years in an acute hospital environment, RN license, and BLS CPR certification are required.

Formación

• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving in patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates critical thinking appropriate to patient care level.
• Collects and documents patient health data.
• Performs assessments and develops evidence-based care plans.
• Implements plan of care safely and timely.
• Coordinates patient placement and transfers per policy.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Participates in quality and safety initiatives.
