Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4th Floor Moffitt McKinley ICU in Tampa, FL. This Surgical ICU cares for critically ill patients with intubation, vasopressors, CRRT and other critical care modalities, within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have ICU experience, be licensed in Florida, and hold BLS and ACLS certifications. The role emphasizes patient/family-centered care and ongoing education through CRRT classes and quarterly workshops.

Qualifications

• BSN from ACEN/CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience; or ASN with 1 year of relevant experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• FL License

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing professionals standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations
