Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU System Wide Float Pool (SSRS). This full-time, benefited role rotates across the system's five hospital campuses in the San Diego area, with 12-hour day shifts and weekend coverage.

The responsibilities include direct patient care, assessment, planning and evaluating care, and collaboration with the care team to achieve the best outcomes. Requirements: CA RN license, 18 months ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 18 months ICU RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Current CA RN License.
• Current BLS and ACLS prior to start.
• Registered nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Must be able to read, write and follow instructions in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must demonstrate positive behaviors.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and progress.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support float assignments across Scripps Health campuses.
