Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in KY upon hire.
• BLS/CPR required upon hire; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and analyzes patient problems to determine standard, urgent or emergent needs.
• Implements or modifies care plans including education and discharge planning, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains patient autonomy, dignity and rights by integrating ethical provisions in nursing practice.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies and procedures.
• Evaluates progress toward attainment of desired patient outcomes.
