Job summary

HSHS Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL.

The role involves delivering compassionate, patient- and family-centered care, collaborating with physicians and the care team, and supervising ICU staff on PRN rotating shifts. Requirements include RN licensure in the state of practice, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
• Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to ICU patients and families.
• Complete the nursing process in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise assigned team members and coordinate care in the ICU setting.
