Job summary

Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is seeking a per diem Inpatient RN. Competitive market pay rates include up to $7 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

In this regular position, you will join a dedicated nursing team providing high-quality patient care in a clinical inpatient setting. Responsibilities include direct patient care, assessments, education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with state requirements.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing specialty program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and coordinate nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective care.
• Promote safety, patient satisfaction, and family education throughout hospitalization.
• Participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives.
