Job summary

Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for part-time day shifts. You will provide intensive care using the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and ancillary staff, and involve families in planning and education.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN with RN license and BLS; 1–2 years of cardiac/Telemetry experience is preferred, with ACLS/Conscious Sedation/CCRN certification preferred. Diploma nurses require 5+ years in progressive care.

Qualifications

• Diploma nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
• 1-2 years cardiac experience preferred.
• 1-2 years telemetry experience.
• Hospital experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred; Conscious Sedation Certification preferred; Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred; Licensed Registered Nurse required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to ICU patients and coordinate with physicians and other departments.
• Embrace and uphould the hospital mission; participate in patient and family education.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services and act as patient advocate.
