Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit on the Third (Nights) shift. The role includes 36 hours per week with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive unit support from an ICU CNS.

The ICU team cares for a wide range of critical patients with staffing ratios from 1:1 to 1:3, and participates in a robust Transition to Practice program for new ICU nurses.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required).
• BSN preferred; MSN considered an advantage.
• Current Registered Nurse license and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs in the ICU setting.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and families.
• Engage in ongoing education and skill validation.
