Job summary

Maria Parham Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our ICU in Henderson, NC. Join a dedicated team delivering high‑quality critical care in a patient‑centered environment.

The role requires an active NC RN license or compact, ASN in Nursing, and BLS certification. ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care are preferred; one year of hospital experience is required. Night shift 7 p.m.–7 a.m. with a potential commitment bonus.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina (or compact license).
• ASN in Nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required).
• PALS, ACLS and Handle with Care preferred.
• One year of RN hospital experience required.
• Active NC RN license (single state) or compact.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the ICU using the nursing process.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition with the care team.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines including transfers and discharges.
• Educates patients and families appropriate to age and culture.
• Advocates for patient well being and participates in CE.
