Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an RN to join the 8-bed Intensive Care/Progressive Care Unit, providing adult ICU/PCU care with ventilator support and advanced monitoring. RNs operate under ANA scope with patient/family centered care, following Corewell Health policies and procedures. Schedules include 36 hours weekly, night shift, 7 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m., with varied days and every other weekend. The unit requires MI RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS within 90 days, and bachelor's degree within 5 years for

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing are required.
• Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years is required.
• Must be NCLEX-licensure demonstrated.
• RN license in Michigan (MI RN) required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• NIH Stroke Certification (NIHSS) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process with patient/family centered care.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care under Nurse Leader guidance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and education.

Education

Associates in Nursing

Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years

MI Registered Nurse (RN)

AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days

AHA Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days

NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS within 90 days

Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination
