Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 for qualified experienced nurses and requires 24 hours per week on the night schedule.

You will provide high-level critical care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Missouri RN license or compact state license is accepted; BLS/ACLS certifications are typically

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ICU nursing experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Missouri RN license or Compact State RN license accepted
• Strong critical care, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
