Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Garden, Florida seeks a registered nurse for full-time night shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am). You will perform comprehensive assessments, create care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the care team.

Required: RN license and BLS; ACLS; Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred); 1+ year acute care experience preferred. Benefits start Day One with competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN license required; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Associate degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes.
