Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for night shift, 36 hours weekly, in a high-acuity environment. The role involves patient- and family-centered care, discharge planning, and collaboration with inter-professional teams to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in PA, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and prior critical care experience. This position requires adaptability as you may float between Bucks, Frankford and Torresdale

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and collaboration with care partners.
• Effective communication and culturally aware care.
• Experience with discharge planning and patient education.
• Knowledge of health information documentation and safety protocols.
• BLS certification and PA RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to provide safe, compassionate care.
• Applies evidence-based practice to plan and deliver nursing care.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge needs.
• Minimizes risk by following established nursing practices and protocols.
