Job summary

Jefferson Health's Abington Lansdale Hospital seeks a highly qualified ICU Registered Nurse for the night shift. The role requires an RN with a specialized nursing diploma and preferred BSN, capable of providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, administering medications, educating patients and families, and coordinating discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) strongly preferred or completion within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops nursing plans of care with the patient and designated care partners.
• Provides patient education and post-discharge planning.
• Administers medications and monitors patient responses.
• Documents health information and maintains accurate medical records.
• Collaborates with the care team to coordinate delivery of care.
• Ensures patient safety and adherence to standards of nursing practice.
