Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in Miami Beach is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse for our ICU on the night shift (7p–7a). This role emphasizes continuous monitoring, invasive device management, and rapid response to critical changes.

You will work within a supportive ICU team, ensuring high-quality patient care across a busy 674-bed main campus. The ideal candidate holds a current Florida nursing license with BLS and ACLS, preferably a BSN.

Qualifications

• Current FL Nursing License required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• BSN preferred; CCRN preferred if available
• Level II: minimum 1 year RN experience in ICU or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patients on external and transvenous pacemakers and on critical care drips.
• Monitor and document hemodynamic status and use of critical care equipment (IABP, CRRT).
• Care for patients with invasive lines and catheters (Femoral Line, Pulmonary Artery Catheter).
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies following hospital policy and within time guidelines.
• Document patient responses, update care plans, and communicate with physicians as needed.
• Provide patient and family education and ensure safe operations of ICU equipment.
