Job summary

North Shore Medical Center in Florida is seeking an experienced RN to join our ICU team. You will provide direct nursing care for patients with complex needs under physician-directed care and RN supervision.

Requirements include Florida RN license, BLS & ACLS, basic arrhythmia skills, and a preferred Critical Care course. Full-time and part-time opportunities with comprehensive benefits and bonus potential are available. 12-hour shifts start at 6:45 PM, with Day and Night options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN License.
• Current BLS & ACLS Certification and basic Arrhythmia Skills.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains comprehensive data pertinent to the patient from patient, family and other providers to develop a holistic picture of needs.
• Analyzes and synthesizes data from the assessment to determine diagnosis or conditions relevant to care.
• Identifies optimal outcomes for the patient in collaboration with patient, family and interprofessional team.
• Develops a plan with strategies and alternatives to attain outcomes, using clinical judgement.
• Implements the plan to promote a safe environment and coordinates with patient, family and team.
• Evaluates processes and progress toward goals.
• Maintains knowledge and competence; communicates effectively with the team.
• Applies evidence-based practice and patient age-specific needs in care.
