Job summary

Jackson Memorial Hospital - Surgical ICU in Miami, FL is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse to join our Nursing team. This role supports the delivery of high-quality patient care in a busy Surgical ICU setting during full-time night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) with rotating weekends.

Required is a Florida RN license and BLS; 1–3 years of related experience, with preferred experience in critical care. An Associate degree in Nursing is required, and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Florida RN license and BLS certification.
• 1–3 years of related experience, ICU/critical care preferred.
• Associate degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates delivery of care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare staff.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding nursing care, care plans and observations.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Makes rounds on a timely basis to ensure continuity of care.
• Provides guidance to LPNs/CNAs and completes staff orientation as assigned.
