Job summary

Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego's Hillcrest neighborhood is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the ICU team. The role offers 12-hour night shifts and a 72 hours per two-week schedule, with competitive pay and the chance to work across a 32-bed ICU delivering high-acuity care. New hire and relocation incentives up to $7K are available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• At least one year Adult ICU RN experience.
• Current CA State RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors.
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the ICU scope of practice.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and progress.
• Lead and support nursing team using critical-care best practices.
