Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Silvis Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit in Silvis, IL. The RN will work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7:30am), three days weekly with holiday and weekend rotation, delivering high-acuity care on a busy unit.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree (BSN preferred) and current IL RN license (IA license within one year). BLS/ACLS and TNCC/NVCI certifications highly valued as part of a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current IL RN license and Iowa license within one year of hire.
• Basic life support and advanced cardiac life support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial patient assessment and gathers data.
• Makes timely admissions assessments and documents findings.
• Develops outcome-based care plans with patient/family input.
• Collaborates with care team to plan and implement interventions.
• Monitors patient progress and reassesses regularly.
• Ensures medication safety and follows physician orders.
• Participates in discharge planning and patient education.
