Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current IL RN license and Iowa RN license within one year of hire.
• BLS, Mandatory Reporter. ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (NVCI) within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lead/direct others in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts an initial assessment to gather data.
• Makes an initial assessment of new admissions within 30 minutes.
• Completes admission assessment within 24 hours of admission.
• Identifies patient problems and develops goals of care.
• Collaborates with the interprofessional team to plan interventions.
• Implements and coordinates plan of care and discharge planning.
• Documents and communicates patient progress and outcomes.
