East Liverpool City Hospital in East Liverpool, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a 12-hour night shift. The role involves direct patient care, assessments, and collaboration with physicians and the care team.

New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply and will receive orientation and clinical support to develop critical care skills. The hospital serves the tristate region with 24/7 services.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in accordance with established standards of care
• Conduct focused and ongoing patient assessments, including vital signs and cardiac monitoring
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition to physicians and the care team
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely per provider orders
• Participate in patient and family education related to the plan of care
• Collaborate with and support other nursing personnel
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to patient safety, infection prevention, and confidentiality requirements
