Job summary

Hartford Hospital, a major teaching hospital in Connecticut, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for Bliss 7 ICU. This 12-bed Medical ICU cares for highly acute patients under the supervision of a Critical Care Pulmonologist and a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires CT RN license, BSN, and BLS, with a preference for at least one year of acute care experience. It offers permanent night shifts (36 hours) and opportunities for growth within Hartford HealthCare.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License is required.
• BSN degree is required; ASN/ADN may be considered for exceptional cases.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association is required before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 12-bed Medical ICU (Bliss 7 ICU) as part of a fast-paced team.
• Collaborate with Physicians, PAs, APNs, and residents to deliver high-quality critical care.
• Maintain high standards of patient monitoring, documentation, and communication.
