Hartford HealthCare's Bliss 7 ICU is seeking a Patient Care Associate to join a 12-bed medical ICU team. You will perform delegated patient care tasks under a Registered Nurse and contribute to safety, comfort, and quality care for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities include supporting the care team in a high-acuity environment, maintaining regulatory standards, and reporting to the Unit Manager. Prior hospital or acute-care experience and CNA/PCT certification are preferred.

Qualificações

• CPR validation within 3 months of hire.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Completion or pursuit of education in a related health field (medical assistant program, EMT certification, nursing, etc.).
• Previous patient care experience, preferably in a hospital or acute-care setting.
• Certification as a CNA or PCT.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with delegated patient care tasks under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Contribute to meeting patients' health, safety and comfort needs per hospital standards.
• Collaborate with the patient care team and unit leadership.
• Report to the Unit Manager as required.
