Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit. The role focuses on coordinated, evidence-based patient care during 7pm–7am shifts in a 32-bed ICU with Level 1 trauma capabilities.

Qualifications

• Current IL RN license
• BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with enrollment in BSN completion program within four years
• Current AHA CPR
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing
• Certain positions may need to take call
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; use patient lifting equipment with another team member when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation in ICU
• Deliver patient-centered care across the continuum to support successful transitions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care for critically ill patients
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, plans, and outcomes in accordance with standards
