Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an ICU RN to join our 6x12-hour night shift team (7p–7a) with rotating weekends/holidays. This full-time role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants and a comprehensive benefits package.

As an ICU RN, you will implement care plans, document care, and monitor patient status across ICU/IMCU populations, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams while supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s preferred.
• BLS for Health Care Providers (BLS-HCP).
• Handle with Care- Advanced (within 90 days).
• ACLS (within 1 year).
• PALS (within 1 year).
• TNCC (within 1 year).
• ENPC (within 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and procedures.
• Documents patient care provided accurately.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates with care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates patient transfers, discharges, and referrals with the care team.
• Educates patient and family on conditions, procedures, and home care.
• Advocates for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
