Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking an experienced ICU/ER nurse for full-time night shifts (36 hours per week) to perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement care plans. The role emphasizes safe nursing practices, collaboration with the medical team, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Missouri or compact state)
• IABP and CRRT training within 1 year of hire
• ACLS and BLS certifications within specified timeframes
• Stroke CEU hours and TNCC within set deadlines
• CPI training within 180 days
• RN Competency Day annually by transcript
• Trauma CEU hours annually by transcript
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of patients and families; plan and implement interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide safe, effective nursing care.
• Document patient treatment accurately and maintain records.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and teach/ supervise others.
• Provide high-quality customer service and communicate effectively with team.
