Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join the ICU team on a night shift schedule. You will support critical care patients in an 8-bed unit, delivering high-quality nursing care during 12-hour shifts with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Applicants should hold an active NC RN license and have 1–2 years of recent ICU experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Current NC state or compact RN license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of patient.
• Document medical necessity in the patient record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
