Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU on nights. This full-time position features 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in an 18-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Essential responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Requires 1–2 years of ICU experience and active RN license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of critical care experience required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills expected.
• Knowledge of nursing standards and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families and document learning needs.
• Collaborate with ICU team to deliver coordinated care.
