Qualified candidates hold CA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and preferably CCRN, with 1 year of CCU experience or completion of a CCU training program.

Qualifications

• Active, current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• One (1) year previous critical care nursing experience or completion of a 6-week critical care training course.
• Preferred: CCRN Certification.

Responsibilities

• The Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN) provides specialized nursing care to acutely ill and medically complex patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborates with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
