UnityPoint Health – Des Moines is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a full-time role with day/night rotations and weekend/holiday coverage. Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 relocation assistance.

Join a mixed critical care team caring for critically ill adults across neurology, medical, surgical, pulmonary and behavioral health cases. Experience in acute RN care is required; a residency program is available for new grads.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
• Minimum of twelve months acute RN experience; RN Residency may apply for new grads.

Responsabilidades

• Provides and coordinates nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Completes documentation to assure an accurate record of care.
• Uses critical thinking to make independent judgments and maintains knowledge of patient conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and other professionals in planning and implementing care.
• Assesses patient and family needs, provides discharge teaching, and coordinates community referrals.
• Keeps up with current nursing practice and healthcare trends.
