Job summary

Allegheny Health Network Jefferson Hills ICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess patient needs and plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in a 20‑bed unit supported by intensivists, APPs and telemedicine.

You will lead clinical practice, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensure patient safety and participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives to advance care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Certification in area of specialty
• August & December 2026 Graduate Nurses
• Prior inpatient hospital experience (PCT)

Responsibilities

• The registered nurse provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assigns or delegates tasks based on patient needs and skill level of the RN, LPN or support staff.
• Promotes patient safety initiatives (ex: National Patient Safety Goals).
• Participates in interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care or health services.
• Continuously evaluates and assesses patient and family satisfaction.
