Advocate Health’s Aurora Medical Center – Mount Pleasant seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU. The 12-bed unit provides high-acuity care with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, requiring prior ICU or stepdown experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS and NIHSS recommended within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care and collaborate to create a high-quality patient experience.
