Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a full-time ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity, lifesaving care in a hospital setting in Ozark, AL. The role emphasizes continuous monitoring of critically ill patients, rapid response to condition changes, and collaboration with physicians and specialists.

The ideal candidate holds an Alabama RN license, BLS certification, and is able to obtain ACLS and PALS within six months.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license (or compact)
• BLS-Healthcare Provider certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within first 6 months
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Preferred ICU/critical care nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity, lifesaving care to critically ill or injured patients.
• Continuously monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps.
• Administer medications, perform complex assessments, and document care accurately.
• Support patients' families with education and emotional guidance.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
