Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for the Multi-Specialty ICU. The role provides high-quality nursing care to a diverse ICU patient population, including STEMI and post-catheterization patients, with opportunities to work with advanced cardiac devices.

The position requires an approved nursing program graduate, an active Texas RN license (or compact), and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Current RN license in Texas or a multistate license.
• BLS/ACLS certification recognized by AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Develop and implement an evidence-based plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Prioritize and adjust care based on patient condition and test results.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
• Adhere to unit policies, standards, and professional guidelines.
