Job summary

Baptist Nassau is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights. RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care preferred. New hires eligible for a $5,000 Sign on Bonus.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process and coordinates care with physicians and ancillary services. Education of patients and families about their disease process and plan of care is included.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; CCRN preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience; cardiac care preferred.
• Telemetry experience and hospital-based care essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case; assess patient care needs and anticipate case requirements.
• As an RN for Baptist Health you will provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions.
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement.
• Educate patients and families to their disease and plan of care.
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Act as the patient advocate and participate in staff meetings and unit activities.
