Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND seeks a qualified ICU nurse to organize and provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will delegate care to licensed staff and support the hospital’s mission and regulatory standards.

Required are a BSN or ADN from an accredited school, current nursing licensure in applicable states, BCLS within one month, ACLS within one year, with 2 years ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• 2 years of ICU experience preferred; current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel.
• Contributes to the mission and goals of Essentia Health and complies with regulatory requirements.
