Job summary

Essentia Health Fargo is seeking Registered Nurses for our Intermediate Care and ICU Units. This role works 36 hours per week on rotating 12-hour shifts, with every 3rd weekend and every holiday rotation.

Candidates should have BSN or ADN, active RN licensure, and BCLS/ACLS certifications. Nursing experience in IMC/ICU preferred; hiring incentives available up to $7,500 for ADN and $10,000 for BSN.

Qualifications

• 1 year IMC/ICU experience preferred.
• BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• BCLS certification within one month; ACLS within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure and job descriptions.
• Contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.
• Comply with Joint Commission and regulatory requirements as applicable.

Education Qualifications:

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• 1 year of IMC/ICU Experience Preferred
• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year

RN Hiring Incentive Eligible Position: Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $7500 (ADN) and up to $10,000 (BSN)
