Job summary

Essentia Health St. Mary’s- Detroit Lakes hospital is seeking an RN in a 0.6 FTE role to organize and deliver nursing care across assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. You will delegate tasks per licensure, and assist ICU staff with codes, IV starts, dressing changes, and education.

Required BSN or ADN and current state licensure; BCLS/ACLS within specified timeframes and PALS, TNCC, NRP within 1 year. Pathway to Excellence designation and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• BCLS within 1 month
• ACLS within 1 year
• PALS, TNCC, and NRP required within 1 year of hire or transfer
• ICU RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from assessment through evaluation for patients.
• Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel per licensure and job descriptions.
• Assist ICU staff with codes, IV starts, dressing changes, and diabetic education.
• Conduct chart audits and support regulatory/compliance initiatives.
• Support Pathway to Excellence initiatives and professional development.
