Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs with the care team.
• Draft personalized care plans with patients and families.
• Educate patients/families and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust care based on data and best practices.
• Lead, mentor peers and support PI initiatives and High Reliability principles.
