Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.

Requires 1 year of RN experience, current Ohio RN license, and BLS/ACLS credentials; ACLS within 6 months of hire. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 1 year of RN experience required.
• BLS or ACLS certification (preferred at hire; ACLS within 6 months).
• PALS preferred at hire (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-focused care.
• Assess patient status and develop a plan of care; implement treatment and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per organizational policies and state practice.
• Synthesize information and adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
