Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Utilize advanced monitoring technology to assess vital signs and rhythms; respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and others to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Apply advanced critical thinking in planning, implementing and evaluating care plans for complex conditions.
• Advocate for patients and families, providing support throughout the care journey.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including assessments, interventions and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nursing practices in the ICU.
