Job summary

The George Washington University Hospital is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our critical care team across MICU, SICU, TICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU. You will provide high‑quality care in a leading academic medical center, using advanced therapies and collaboration with physicians to drive patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a BSN or are enrolled, DC RN license, 2 years ICU experience, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• BSN required or currently enrolled
• DC RN license or eligibility
• 2 years full-time (or 4 years part-time) ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a range of critical care populations.
• Utilize advanced technology to monitor and manage critically ill patients.
• Work within interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Apply strong clinical judgment in complex, fast-paced situations.
• Support patients and families throughout the ICU experience.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Provide education on conditions, treatments, and recovery.
• Participate in initiatives to enhance ICU care delivery.
