Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an experienced ICU RN in Tyler, TX to join a permanent, full-time ICU team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care in a high-acuity unit, with collaboration across physicians, nurses, and support staff. Expect a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and compassionate patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in an ICU setting, ACLS/BLS, and strong EHR documentation skills, plus a commitment to ongoing learning and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of ICU RN experience in high-volume acute care.
• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR documentation.
• Strong patient and family education skills, delegation, and teamwork.
• Ability to titrate IV drips and manage acute stabilization.
• Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill ICU patients.
• Perform rapid assessments and escalate care as needed.
• Document complex clinical data in the EHR.
• Titrate IV drips and manage patient stabilization.
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and management.
• Delegate tasks to nursing assistants within scope of practice.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment plans.
• Uphold hospital policies and maintain a safe, clean environment.
