Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire.
• ACLS certificate upon hire or within 30 days of hire.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the ICU.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient’s condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and uphold standards of care.
